Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering
Established in 1985 as Production Engineering Department, it was renamed as Department of Manufacturing Engineering in 1991 and in 2020, it was renamed the Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering.
Department offers B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering, and PhD’s in various advanced areas of Manufacturing. The department has focused on high-quality teaching and integrated laboratory experience that provide a solid foundation for the industry, entrepreneurship, research, and academic careers.
Vision
The department remains committed to its mission which is twofold.
